The foundation of BTMOG was spearheaded by a collective of astute businessmen, influential politicians, seasoned lawyers, distinguished judges, and accomplished traders.

Business, Traders and Manufacturers Organization of Ghana (BTMOG) is an association of business operators, firms, and industries with interests spanning every sector of private enterprise in Ghana. As an advocacy organization, the BTMOG was established with the prime objective of promoting and protecting commercial and industrial interests in the country (Legislative Instrument 611 of 1968).

BTMOG represents the voice of the business community with total commitment to playing a leadership role towards propelling Ghana’s economy to higher heights. As an autonomous business support organization, we serve as a link between established businesses, the emerging sector, and government at the various levels while offering our members a myriad of business support services.

To this end, BTMOG has and will continue to influence government policies and programmes, which will inure to the benefit of the private sector while promoting the overall development of the Ghanaian economy.
